James Bond- A Tribute
Being a HUGE fan of James Bond, I totally am on pins and needles waiting for "Skyfall" to be released. I am not only curious to see what he does, but to see what he's wearing. I know he's gonna rock an AWESOME tux in there somewhere, but I totally wanna know what the rest of the wardrobe will be. I also wanna see what the girls are wearing.
James bond has always been my fashion hero. He pretty much looks good in ANYTHING that he's wearing and luxury is always the way to go for him. From Gorgeous and well tailored suits to casual or beachwear (Daniel Craig coming out of the ocean alone SOLD me on that movie) he absolutely stunning. Each actor that has played James Bond has brought something to the table. Here's my tribute to each Bond:
Sean Connery brought a sleek, but brutish masculinity to James Bond. He played James Bond 7 times (Dr. No, From Russia With Love, Goldfinger, Thunderball, You Only Live Twice, Diamonds Are Forever, Never Say Never Again).
Roger Moore brough a regal poshness to James Bond. He was still very masculine, but less brutish. He also played James Bond 7 times (Live And Let Die, The Man With The Golden Gun, The Spy Who Loved Me, Moonraker, For Your Eyes Only, Octopussy, A View To A Kill).
Timothy Dalton brought a commanding prescence to the table as James Bond. Being one of two James Bonds that was 6'2, he was one man that you couldn't ignore. He may have those amazing soap opera looks (he's terribly handsome), but he also was more of a charmer, so you had to fall for him. He played James Bond 2 times (The Living Daylights, License To Kill).
Pierce Brosnan brought a sense of humor to James Bond. He was known as a humorous detective on the American TV show "Remington Steele". I always hoped that he would be James Bond and I'm glad that he was. He was so much fun to see as James Bond. He played James Bond 4 times (Goldeneye, Tomorrow Never Dies, The World is Not Enough, Die Another Day).
George Lazenby was the only James Bond I didn't like too much, but he brought more emotion to James Bond. maybe a little too much emotion. After one of the bad guys died, he cried. That didn't make sense for me, but it was the actor's choice. He also was the other Bond that was 6'2. George looked like a prince on the screen, and I would have rather seen him as a Bond villian. He played James Bond only once. (On Her Majesty's Secret Service).
Daniel Craig brings James Bond to present day and he keeps him sleek and sexy, with a confidence that only he can bring to the table. He's also the closest to the James Bond in the books, being blonde. He's played James Bond 3 times (Casino Royale, Quantum Of Solace, Skyfall) and I hope he plays him for a few more movies!!!
I can't wait to see this movie!!!!
Stay fashionable and sexy!!!!!

Have to admit, I am not a huge Bond fan, and watched it really for the theme song, and to see what the Bond Girl looked like and was wearing! But my favourite Bond was/is Roger Moore. I think he played J. Bond with a really Brit tongue in cheek persona and kind of camped it up which I liked.
